What is staking?

Many cryptocurrencies are available for staking. This can be compared to an interest-bearing saving account which requires you to lock your funds for a set period of time. You earn rewards with your crypto because they are put to work instead of staying still. When you stake your $ILA, your tokens will be accumulating rewards while being “locked” in the protocol. After the locked period expires, you can withdraw the staked tokens to your wallet.
